St Thomas Schools

St Thomas School is a £5.1m Design and Build project which comprises a new junior school and community centre. The school was constructed on a plateau occupied by existing playing fields in the community of Saint Thomas in Swansea.

The state-of-the-art new St Thomas Community School was completed in November 2006 and a number of eco-friendly features have been built in, making it a truly 21st century school. Just a few of the features incorporated into the design are Solar Panels to provide additional hot water, Photovoltaic Panels for supplementary Electricity, recycled tyres were used for playground surfacing and many more.

The new school will provide an excellent educational centre for future pupils and a resource for the whole St Thomas community.
